I would like to extend my hearty welcome to you visiting the
Department of Brain and Cognitive Engineering in General Graduate School at Korea University.
Our Brain and Cognitive Engineering has been established as of September, 2009 as a part of the project by the Ministry of Education Science and Technology to support World Class University. With the clear purpose of entering in Top 10 worldwide in the field of Brain Science, our department is trying to foster professional human resources who are to be equipped with creative thinking, adaptation to new technology and practical application.
Classes overseas are to be held every year in Korea and students are intended to become global-minded professionals through co-research and teaching by Korea and overseas professors. Our department is making an effort to make it possible for researches to be integrated with leading-edge technology through highly priced equipment such as fMRI, EEG, NIRS etc. And executing curricular on the basis of researches and educational systems at the world's top level built by the partnership between the Department of Brain and Cognitive Engineering and Institute for Brain and Cognitive Engineering.
The objective of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Engineering is to educate students so that they are acknowledged as valuable human resources in the global society.
We are looking forward to meeting students with great potential who are going to study together here as graduate students for the degree of Master and Ph.D.
